2010 Motorsports season is in full swing!

 Autocross Events

After a long winter break, the 2010 Hampton Roads Autocross Season is up and running, hard and fast at Little Creek Amphibious base at Assault Craft Unit 4 (ACU-4,) hosted by the Tidewater Sports Car Club and at Old Pungo Airfield, sponsored by the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA), Old Dominion Region.

SCCA Pungo events are held on the First Sunday of the month from April Through June.  You can check out the event details, including autocrosses and road rallys on the odr-scca.org web site calendar.

High Performance Driving Events (HPDEs)

Many TZCC members enjoy the occasional weekend driving our Z's and classic Datsuns around road courses at the limits of their speed and corning abilities.  The time on track is unforgettable, the camaraderie in the paddock is great fun and the escapades getting to and from the track are stuff of legends.  We support the Triangle Z Club/Tarheel Sports Car Club which holds HPDEs at the best road courses from Georgia to Virginia.  The first TZC/THSCC HPDE was last month at Virginia International Raceway (VIR) on their full course layout and TZCC members, as always, had a great time.   Their next HPDE will be back at VIR (north course this time) in April.  For a full schedule of TZC/TSCC HPDE' check out their web site at www.thscc.com.
